Backstory
Moralto hails from high in the mountains (Lustrous Mountains). He's serious and does not show much emotion. He is logical and sticks strictly to his morals of sharing wealth equally. He lived with his father, a Rhyperior by the name of Archormus. He never knew his mother, as she was a wanderer and never stayed with one mate for long. As an Aron, he grew up becoming strong in the mountains with his father. It was a satisfying life, albeit lonely. A while after he reached adulthood, he began to question why he had not evolved yet. Archormus told him that to become truly strong, he must gain more worldly experience. To gain experience, he must meet others, prevail in trials of character, and realize himself. With the advice to follow fate's path and to stay true to his beliefs, Moralto set off to become even stronger. He wandered on for days, without a clue as to where he was going. As he traveled near Monochrome Tower, he found what he was looking for...
Forte lived on the banks of the Tao River his whole life. He's energetic and stubborn, but he's loyal to his friends and he has a strong will to be independent and renowned. In his childhood, he resided with his parents, Floatzels named Neiyall and Helia, and his Buizel sisters, Riika, Tihu, and Mina. He detested his sisters. He was the only male, and as such was subjected to tea parties and dress-up games. He didn't want to be there; he wanted to do manly things, like fight and wrestle and have drinking contests and get laid and become famous! When he reached adulthood, he shot out of there as fast as he could. Unfortunately, he'd never had any real experience in fighting, and he was constantly wounded. One day, he bit off more than he could chew. An Electrike was giving him a real thrashing...
Until Moralto heard the noise and came to investigate. His small stature wasn't intimidating to the 'Mon, but a powerful Mud Slap was enough to convince it to retreat. Moralto, sensing something, stayed with Forte until he recovered. Moralto was the most unusual Pokemon Forte had ever seen, and even when Moralto returned to his journey, the Buizel followed. Moralto thought Forte was annoying at first, but he was good company. As they trekked, they became close friends, covering each other's weaknesses and helping each other. They eventually stumbled across Tao Village, and signed up for the Rogue's Guild to earn some money.
As it turned out, they liked working for a purpose. Through their first job (see [link]), Moralto realized he could spread his ideals, and Forte could become as successful as he dreamed. After Moralto evolved into a Lairon, the two took on a real mission, escorting Devonshire to Monochrome Tower (see [link]). This mission ended in failure, deprecating the morale of the team. The arrival of Kyurem in the village wasn't much of a spirit lifter either, as its snow brought sickness to Moralto. To make up for his failure of the previous mission and to help his best friend, Forte teamed up with multiple other teams of all guilds to obtain the medicine for the Lairon (see [link]).
After the bout of sickness, The team obtained scarves to combat the snowy weather. Moralto, after hearing stories of Forte's family, wanted one of his own. He adopted an egg, and vowed to stay by its side until it hatched. Forte, not wanting to take on a mission alone, stayed with his friend until it hatched. During this time, they did not get out of their home much, except for a few visits to the cafe and some visitors at their home (see [link]).
When the egg hatched, there were mixed feelings between Moralto and Forte. The new team member was a Mienfoo, a female. For the first week, she learned language and gained her personality. She was boisterous and mischievous, curious and playful, stubborn and childish. Moralto named her Coda, and he loved her immediately. He sometimes acted as her parent, and other times he was like a big brother. He took proper care of the girl, even to the point of spoiling her. Coda looks up to Moralto indefinitely. She does whatever he says without hesitation. Forte on the other hand, is not fond of having a little sister. He is usually ignored though. Coda seems to not like him, but she secretly looks up to him as well, and she enjoys his cooking. Her stubborn side shows most with him, as he can be bossy and insensitive. When Forte does something wrong, she always tattles to Moralto. She hates being treated like a child, and will retaliate with an attack if need be.
For sorbet's party, neither Forte nor Moralto did anything special. They meandered a bit, but Coda was growing a little tree for the guest of honor. When Sorbet went rampant, Team Ricochet was trapped in their underground home. They were eventually rescued and taken to Merlot's castle until the fervor died down. Afterwards, they returned to their mostly unscathed home.
